Launched as a free download on one of my favourite underground labels Project Allout Records, 'Ghouls' was my first ever Bassline release. I utilised both growly and wacky variations throughout this tune to show off my own personal style with eerie ghoul samples to really bring out a spooky feel.

My bootleg of Breach - Jack was my first ever release! I decided to initiate my production in Speed Garage as I origially wanted to make lots of it before moving onto Bassline. This particular style was influenced by Sammy Virji with choppy drums, shuffles and groovy melodies.

Basshive Visual Set

This video was one of my biggest music projects to date. Myself and my friend Paolo Deyes had created a full green screen set up in my bedroom with several lights, Canon 5D and Reloop Tape 2 recorder.

After an exhausting four hours set up and nearly two hours of recording, I was super happy to send this off alongside my visuals to Owen Sutton, the owner of Basshive to key in my visuals and calibrate my audio to the visuals, ready for release!

When developing my brand 'Onyx UK', I knew I had to delve into an area of the underground scene I was seriously passionate about working in. Early 2020, I was getting really into UK Bass and Bass House which is what I pursued when mixing my ‘Onyx 2020 Debut Mix’; but as time went on, I felt myself separating from it and losing interest when mixing it.
When experimenting and exploring new Bassline and Garage music, I started to get madly obsessed with heavy, wacky and wobbly 140 Bassline music and labels such as Off Me Nut, Chip Butty and WubClub and felt so 'at home' with the Northern sound, this is back in mid 2020 when I made this mix.
This mix is when my self-discovery in the music came about and offers plenty of huge Bassline Bangers from some of my biggest inspirations in the scene - 140 Bassline all the way!
